Got a new problem....and it really is ticking me off.....LOL...Since I quit smoking...my voice was getting stronger and my breathing as well....for the last month or so, it has felt like I had something always in my throat...i use to joke about having a frog in my throat......wellllllllll......seems like I have developed this horrible thing called Post Nasal Drip..or Chronic Rhinitis.....(go figure)...anyway...it has affected my voice and breathing.....(but I am not going to go back to smoking....LOL) The explanation for what it does is as follows:

Because of the thick mucus secretions, swallowing problems may result in accumulation of solids or liquids in the throat that may complicate or feel like post-nasal drip. When the nerves and muscles in the mouth, throat, and food passage (esophagus) aren’t interacting properly, overflow secretions can spill into the voice box (larynx) and breathing passages (trachea and bronchi), causing hoarseness, throat clearing, or coughing. I feel like I have to clear my throat all the time...and that in turn irritates my vocal chord :(

Hello, my name is Debbie. I am just a country girl who likes to sing. I don't sing very well, but I love all kinds of music. I do this for fun and if you enjoy my singing or get a laugh out of my antics that is a bonus.

I have been asked why I sing so many songs. I am so sorry if some people think that it is wrong to do that. I love music, and although I am not a professional singer and do not have a great voice, it is what I love to do. I love it when people listen to me (who wouldn't), but that isn't why I sing. I grew up with music playing every single day of my life, so it is a part of my life :-) and it makes me happy to sing. I truly hope you enjoy listening as much as I enjoy singing.

I think I need to explain *Bratty Style*. The deal is this. If I don't know a song or if I don't have the range of the song (which happens a lot) I will sing the song the way I want to or the way I think it should be sung.
I truly am a brat but a playful one I think.
